Newsletter 30: A Sneak Preview

After weeks of endless toil, we are proud to announce the relaunch of the African Mamas online store.  We have been talking for a while now about some of the changes coming up and it is finally here!  And you are one of the 1st people invited to preview it.

The brief given to our designer was to create an engaging and user-friendly site that delivers a delightful customer experience and attracts sales.  Although we cannot completely replicate the touch and feel experience of physical shopping in the online environment; we’ve tried to give a full colour experience through use of colour palettes as well as zooming up close and personal to see the intricate detail of our quality workmanship.

To celebrate this special occasion, we’ve introduced a special relaunch voucher which is available on our website under “New > Specials”.  Go ahead, spoil yourself and let us know how your experience was.  We value and appreciate your feedback.

SME Tradelinks Incubator Programme 2021

We had a somewhat busy end of year for 2021, closing off with a graduation on the SME Tradelinks Incubator Programme.  This was a 6-month programme with a people-centred approach sponsored by Rx Africa.  It was a great learning and relationship building opportunity.  The graduation was graciously hosted in one of Tembisa’s finest restaurants – Imbizo Shisanyama, which offers a true township cuisine experience.  Well worth a visit.

Meetings Africa 2022

The end of February is always a highlight with Meetings Africa.  This year, the event was back physically at Sandton City after a 2-year absence.  We enjoyed the face-2-face connections and relationship building.  We were also fortunate to be featured in an article published on the Tourism Update website.

With WTM Africa coming up in Cape Town next month, it does seem like the green shoots of recovery are starting to bud and spring may be on the horizon.

Till next month,
